MOOD 44 - THE STRUCTURE
Mood 44 offers its distinguished clientele six designer rooms and a prestigious apartment with its own entrance. All rooms have been restored to feature maximum atmosphere and comfort.
The 18th century three-storey building, has been brought back to life thanks to the expertise of two Roman architects who carefully restored it aiming for high-end comfort and elegance.
Situated on the ground floor, the apartment has its own entrance and a kitchenette, whereas the suites each have a small lounge and separate sleeping quarters.
Mood 44 features a roof garden where guests can relax after a busy day. An elegant oasis nestled among Rome’s rooftops where they can enjoy an honesty bar.
Vicolo della Torretta
Mood 44’s suites are all located in Vicolo della Torretta, which was one of Caravaggio’s favourite places. It is there that he used to frequent the atelier of the Cavaliere D’Arpino, his first teacher, and he would hang out with his friends in the Osteria della Torretta.
It is a quiet little street allowing its guests to enjoy a relaxing stay and tranquil nights, while at the same time being very close to the most important historical, artistic and cultural sights of Rome.
In fact, the rooms are in the very heart of Rome, close to the Spanish Steps, Italy’s institutional buildings, Parliament, the government, as well as to the most prestigious shopping areas and to the main monuments and places of interest for tourists such as the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Via dei Condotti, Via Frattina, Via del Corso, Fontanella Borghese, Via di Ripetta and Montecitorio Square.
